My friends could not stop talking about this place so of course we had to stop by. It was stop #1 on our roadtrip to SD and boy, I could understand why they were hyping this place up! All the pastries we ordered were so good. The flavors and textures of all the breads were worth trying out. After all, carbs are life, amirite?!

Saturday lunch. We arrived at a good time as we were the only customers in line, save another gentleman perusing the sandwiches. We ordered some usuals and some not usuals. French baguette. I was so happy to see there were still some left in the case. Love their long baguette! Sandwich bread. Of course. We can never leave without the strawberry croissant. Ending the meal with an iced coffee and strawberry croissant has become a monthly ritual. Spam and egg musubi. This is the first time trying this musubi. It was ok. It's a pass for next time I see it. There are other musubi's to try before settling on a favorite. Spicy tuna. This was also ok but enjoyed it much more than the spam musubi or California roll. This is a likely future reorder. California roll. It was ok. A bit too creamy. This is also a pass for us. Egg salad sandwich. This is a repeat. Comments to the management: As mentioned, when we visited, it was not busy as there were a total of three people in line. My husband and I were two of the three. The worker helping us may have been new. We don't know. The service wasn't bad, but could have been better. I'm not sure if the music was too loud or if she was distracted. Ordering was quite repetitious as we had to keep repeating ourselves. That part of the ordering process always seemed a bit chaotic and I thought it was because the line was usually long. However, there was no excuse today since it was just my husband and myself. Is it possible for that first worker helping customers to ask if we plan to dine in or take items home? Placing croissants in the plastic container to only be discarded in 30 minutes seems like a waste. Yes, most of our items were brought home, but we typically eat lunch at the bakery.

I randomly came across Cream Pan walking through Downtown Lomita earlier today. This place is an easy five stars, with unique and diverse options ranging from Japanese cuisine like katsu curry to a large variety of baked goods such as apple tarts, croissants, crepes, baguettes, and much more. This location is very clean, spacious, with a vibrant interior. They have plenty of seating, along with wifi which makes it ideal for remote work and studying. The prices are considerably cheap compared to several bakeries I've been to. In total we'd ordered five items which came out to $20. I got the iced latte, apple tart, pb & j, peach iced tea, and raisin bread. Everything was above average and great value. Service was solid, they were patient as I took some extra time to make a decision on drinks.

Fantastic Japanese style bakery in Torrance area. Go early if you want the freshest. They don't run out of good stuff for hours. Food is fantastic, not too sweet and fairly priced. Try their famous cased pastries, but also their traditional baked goods, and Sandos. Service is great as you'd expect. They make hand crafted beverages too. Great complement to the food. Seating is abundant. Family friendly.

I stumbled across this place while looking for nearby bakeries in the area and I'M IN LOVE!! My favorite was the strawberry banana pastry and the fruit tart. The strawberry banana pastry was nice and flaky. The custard was creamy and not overly sweet. When I took a bite, there was a layer of chocolate spread which is a plus. I would definitely get this again! I've been craving a fruit tart and this one definitely hit the spot. The fruits used for both pastries were so sweet and ripe. There's so many more items that I wanted to try like the cakes. I am looking forward to going back and bringing my friends. The bakery is open and spacious with lots of seating. It's a perfect place to catch up with friends and family. The service was great. I got helped right away. We went on a Thursday morning and there's plenty of parking in their private lot.

Love this place! I tried it for the first time at the Tustin location. So happy there's one now closer to home. All the pastries look super delicious but my favorite is the strawberry croissants. Staff were super friendly :)

This location is spacious, well-lit, with lots of seating and very comfortable. It is a convenient location with plenty of parking most days. The customer service is excellent. We have been here many times and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. The pastry is way above average and the savory items are wonderful. The price is amazing! It allows us to try lots of different items and enjoy lots of flavors. Their sandwiches are fresh, beautiful and amazing especially for the price. The katsu chicken sandwich is a "go-to". The pork bao buns are wonderful too. The fruit tart was a huge hit at a birthday party recently. This is a great addition to Lomita and we highly recommend it.

Strawberry croissants!! The famous Cream Pan that is well known for strawberry croissants is now in the South Bay! I am thrilled that they now have Cream Pan Bakery in Lomita. This Japanese bakery has the best strawberry croissants. The croissants are so soft and the strawberries are so fresh. Powdered sugar on the outside and sweet cream in the inside; these strawberry croissants are the perfect sweet indulgence. There's more than just strawberry croissants here though. They've got lots of sweet and savory options! For the sweets; they've got delightful offerings such as matcha cakes, raspberry tarts, fruit cakes. For the savory; they've got curry plates, spam musubi, Japanese sandwiches and steamed buns. They also have a coffee and tea bar! This spot is amazing. Aside from having a huge menu selection; they also have a pretty huge place. It's quite spacious inside and they even have a large window where you can see the kitchen and see the baking magic happen :). I also love how they open at 5am every day and close at 7pm every day. The hours make it perfect for early risers to enjoy fresh baked pastries and coffee. I came here around 7:30am one Sunday and was quite happy getting my strawberry croissant and hot hazelnut latte! I also like how they close at 7pm; because it gives folks the chance to grab some dinner like their curry plates. Cream Pan Bakery in Lomita will definitely be a go-to spot for me. Hmm I see myself being a Yelp regular or maybe duchess soon ;).

The Vanilla Oat Latte here is not for me, but if it's for you, great! Definitely my first and last time getting a drink here. It was my first time at this location and there was a line, so I felt compelled to buy more because the wait. Also, don't come here hungry because I assure you, you will buy more than what you initially wanted. At least, that was what happened in my case. When we go here, we usually get the Strawberry Croissants/ Cream Puffs and occasionally, we'll get a cake. However, the Boston Cream Donut and Oatmeal Cookie were speaking to me and they're both also a no for me. I'll just stick with the usuals. The staff were nice and the line does move quickly. There is a parking lot, but I just chose to park on the street.

This place was recommended by a friend, and I already have come here twice! When I came here for the first time, it was just after 8am on Saturday, but the parking was already full which is the good sign! Everything I tried was actually very tasty and also very reasonable...no wonder why it's so popular! This will be my regular bakery...
